Welcome to Highway Assembly of God online!
Greetings to you from Highway Assembly of God! We are an Assemblies of God church located in the historic town of Fredericksburg, Virginia. I would like to tell you a little bit about our church.
Ministries: We have ministries for the entire family. Our Sunday morning schedule includes Sunday School for all ages (infant through adult), with several different classes for adults. Our morning worship service includes a worship team composed of a choir and various musical instruments led by our Worship Pastor. We believe in ministering to the Lord through praise and worship. We have an emphasis on the preaching of the Word of God and an altar service following the ministry of the Word. The altar service is an important part of our worship for it gives us the opportunity to respond to what God has spoken to our hearts. We also have a nursery for ages infant - 2 years old, children's church for ages 3 - 5, and Kid's church for grades 1-5.
On Wednesday nights we have our Royal Ranger ministry for boys and Missionette ministry for girls. Power Surge Youth Ministry provides a service for youth in the fellowship hall and they have their own worship team and ministry of the Word. An in depth Bible study for adults is held in the Fireside room adjoining the church auditorium. As in all other services, childcare is provided in the nursery for ages infant - 2 years old. Our Royal Ranger and Missionette ministries begin at 3 years old. There is something for every member of the family!
On Tuesday nights we have our Young Adult Bible study. This is a time of worship, Bible study, and fellowship for young adults.

We have many other ministries in our church including Honor Bound Men's Ministries, Women's Ministries, Ministry of Caring, Ushering, Food Pantry, Prayer Ministry, and Sound System.
As you can see, our goal is to minister to the entire family. Everyone is important to us and we want to see each person - young or old, married or single, boy or girl, man or woman - grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become all that God wants them to be.
