MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission at Highway Assembly of God youth ministries is to:
REACH
out to teenagers of all backgrouds and lifestyles
TEACH
them how to love God and love others
and to
SEND
them out into their schools and neighborhoods prepared to share the love of Christ with others
WHO WE ARE
The name comes from Acts 1:8 in which Jesus told His disciples that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them. We fully depend on the Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom to REACH, TEACH, and SEND young people out with the confidence they need to reach others with the love of Christ.
We try to provide a mix of activities including concerts, youth retreats / conventions, camping trips, and missions / outreach opportunities. The 2nd Wednesday of every month is our Mid-Month Meltdown which is a fun night of activities geared towards building relationships among the teens.
AGE GROUP
12 - 19 years old
WHEN / WHERE WE MEET
We meet on Wednesday's from 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the upper-level of the Fredericksburg Christian Middle School building which is located behind the church. Our youth services incorporate a time of fellowship, worship, and the Word.
Sunday School begins at 9:30am and meets in the lower-level of the church.
MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR
Our goal at youth ministries is to help your teenager grow up knowing that God loves them completely and desires to have an intimate relationship with them. If you are new to the area or just searching for a church we would love to have you come and be our guests.
